Would you like your kids to learn some programming?
And make their own games, instead of just playing them?
CoderDojo organizes free coding workshops (called Dojo’s) for girls and boys from 7 to 18 years old. A Dojo is entirely prepared and led by volunteers. If you are older, then you can help out at an existing Dojo or start your very own CoderDojo!

About CoderDojo Waterloo
CoderDojo Waterloo organizes coding sessions on Sunday morning once a month. At this Dojo we speak English and French, plus couple of other languages. Our coaches will help your kids to create their own projects in Scratch, a programming language developed at MIT especially for children. In addition to Scratch, children also can try other programming tools like HTML, Python, Arduino, Microbit etc. At the end of the session kids are encouraged to present their project to the audience and rewarded for it with the CoderDojo wrist belts (click here to learn more about belts).
